Empowering Aston's Future

Andrew Williams - Independent Voice for Aston

I am putting together a list of my policy ideas.  These are thought bubbles – so to speak.

As an independent, my role is to represent the views of the Aston voters.  I can only achieve this if the Aston voters provide me feedback, thoughts, alternative views and new ideas.

I am going into this election campaign with the full knowledge that my ideas will not be appealing to every voter.  I fully appreciate that I will never please 100% of the people, 100% of the time.  Achieving 100% is unrealistic.  If you find a political candidate or party that you 100% agree with – then vote for them, that is a great outcome.

My role as an independent is to influence the conversation, get the major parties to consider new ideas, new approaches and new concepts. – This is the true value of an independent in an election campaign.

Latest Posts for my Campaign

The rules of the comments section are simple.  I don’t mind if you disagree – that is democracy at work.  Any posts that are made which are insulting, using offensive language, promote hate or division against people, groups or communities will be removed and not responded too.

I am seeking feedback and I am not providing a forum to engage in anti-social or racist rants.

I love our community and all the positive things that we at Aston stand for.  This is what this site is about.  Respect that, respect each other and respect that we acheive a lot through respectful dialog.

Feedback is always welcome via andrew@andrew4aston.com

What do I propose to tackle cost of living pressure for the people of Aston

Tackling the cost of living pressures seems complex, and it may well be for the parties who take a very "siloed" approach.  It is true, cost of Living pressures for voters of Aston is many different forms.  We need to break down the problem to the core components and...

Tackling youth crime at its source
